Well here is another New Year. Unlike last year this year has started calmly for me and my family and friends.. That doesn't mean things won't change. But for now, I'm just going to live it daily and focus on my healthier eating and work out regimens, as well as normal working mom/wife daily routines. I will do my best to stay on track. Instead of focusing on one BIG goal ( not "new year resolution") I am setting many small goals. Every week I write down 1 small goal that will help me work up to 1 BIG goal for the month. I'm starting off with tracking every single thing I eat and drink and staying under 1700 calories daily. So far,I have done great and added my thyroid medicine to the mix and the scale finally said I lost weight!!! it was only 1 pound, but it was 1 pound in 2 days!!!!! can you tell I'm excited??? next weeks goals are to keep tracking and Kickbox m-w-f and either hit the gym for cardio on Tues and Thurs OR do turbo kettle bells on Tues & Thurs and hit the gym for cardio on Saturday.
I would like to know what your goals are, and what I could do to help you reach those goals. Please comment below and I will do what I can.
Happy New Year!!!
Hi Tara! So I lost the weight last year in preparation for baby #1 and Olivia was born beautiful in May! It took me longer than expected to get back to the gym, going back to work in September and being a new mom, and I gained a lot more weight, especially in my last trimester, than planned. Most of it was water weight but I was left with 30 lbs. To lose. I started hitting it hard in December. I really want to have another baby and put off trying in order to lose the weight. My goal is to lose it by March, which is ambitious. Currently, I have lost 10 pounds though, which puts me on track. You continue to be an inspiration for me as someone who has also struggled her whole life with weight issues!
ReplyDeleteThanks Te!! You are doing pretty awesome yourself, I see you hitting the gym and you have great ambition to be there as often as you have every morning. Keep it up GIRL!!!
